The Reaching Up Music School teaches children and adults the theory and practice of piano, violin, guitar, and trumpet. A choir with parents and children is also in full gear and voice training is offered to all students who participate in the music program.
Elizabeth Kim runs a flexible program with children from Grade 3 and older. Children participate after school or on Saturdays. She also offers adult classes during the day.
The music program has proven to be instrumental in helping children build up their confidence. Many of the students apply to the RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) for testing and pass.
PIANO
Luke Fu participated in the 16th Annual Canadian International Children’s Art Festival. Luke’s specialty is piano and he received 1st place for level 4 students and placed 3rd overall to all levels.
This is just another fantastic achievement by the students of Reaching Up Music Club.
